Forest School
Forest School is an approach to learning that offers all learners opportunities to develop confidence and a range of skills through hands-on learning experiences in a natural environment with trees. The sessions take place outside on the school field as we are fortunate to have fantastic school grounds which are perfect for outdoor learning. The children love being involved in activities such as: climbing trees, building dens and cooking on the campfire. These sessions take place one afternoon a week with a different class each half term. Sessions are led by a fully trained and experienced Forest School practitioner.
This term was the turn of Butterflies and Honeybees. They have had a wonderful time exploring the Forest School site, playing in the mud kitchen and cooking on the campfire!
