PeterchurchPool & Swimming
At Peterchurch Primary School we are very fortunate to have our own heated swimming pool. All of our children swim once a week when the pool is open. The pool is open at the start of the Autumn Term and then again for the entire Summer Term. We start with our Preschool and Reception children who work on developing water confidence and have fun spending time in the pool. By the time most children leave Peterchurch Primary School they are confidently able to swim 25m of their chosen stroke and have developed some basic life saving skills. Every year the PTA organise a sponsored swim to raise money to support events in school.
