Sports events
We participate in lots of sporting events against other local schools including football, cricket, dodgeball, netball and many more. Well done to our Year 5/6 team who won 14-4 against Clifford Primary School in October.
Nature Day
Tim Kaye held a wonderful whole school Nature Day. The children experienced bug hunting, pond dipping, tree identification and looked through natural artefacts.
Here Girls Can Festival
Village Parade
Musical themed- each class learnt a song and dressed up as Characters from certain musicals. It was a delight to parade through the Village seeing all of the Community come out and support the children.
Sports Day
Cathedral Art Competition
All of our children had the opportunity to take part in an art competition, the winning entries were displayed in Hereford Cathedral. Take a look at some of our winners!
Ladybirds visit the Small Breeds Farm
Last week we spent the day at the small breeds farm, learning about different animals and their young. It was lovely to get so close to so many animals and feed them too!
Visit from Mountain Rescue
Dragonflies class had an exciting visit from Mountain Rescue in Longtown.
Trewern Residential
Year 5 had a fantastic experience caving, gorge walking, rock climbing, hill climbing and orienteering in the dark!
Science Day
The children dressed up as scientists for the day and moved around the classes to complete different experiments!!
World Book Day
Whole School Art Day
We created lots of new art to be displayed around the school; rainbow portraits, clay tiles and shadow shapes!
Bedtime story reading event
Hindu Wedding Assembly
We had a visit from Kesri today, she explained all about the traditions of a Hindu wedding. The children got to compare a traditional British wedding to a Hindu wedding and look at some of the jewellery and traditional outfits that are worn.
Children's Mental Health Week
We had a yoga instructor visit us and she completed a workshop with each class.
