Religious Education
At Peterchurch, Religious Education (RE) is an important part of everyday learning. Our RE lessons help pupils explore a wide range of religious and non-religious beliefs, make sense of different worldviews, and understand their relevance in today's world. We follow the Herefordshire Agreed Syllabus, ensuring the RE is engaging, meaningful and accessible to every pupil, including those with SEND.
We are committed to providing a rich and thoughtful RE experience. Our curriculum builds knowledge step by step, helping pupils deepen their understanding over time. Lessons are carefully planned to ensure learning flows smoothly.
Throughout RE at Peterchurch, pupils develop curiosity, respect and understanding. equipping them to appreciate diversity, reflect on their own beliefs and engage positively with the world around them.

At Peterchurch, assemblies are held regularly as part of our collective worship provision. They play a key role in promoting pupils’ spiritual, moral and cultural development, supporting our values and broader curriculum. This provides a well-rounded education that nurtures pupil's personal development and understanding diversity.
St Peter’s Church
Here at Peterchurch, we have strong links with our local church, St Peter's, whose leaders regularly visit the school to deliver assemblies and contribute to curriculum activities. Pupils also benefit from access to additional local resources such as the library at The Hub, which enriches learning and fosters community connections.
